Programs:Healthcare Career Presentations
Expose students to a variety of healthcare careers-help students interested in health occupations find enrichment activities and educational programs to grow their passion to become future healthcare professionals.
Jr. ScholarsGeared for High School Students interested in a healthcare career by offering them career ready certifications such as Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Pharmacy Tech and Phlebotomy utilizing hands-on training.
AHEC Scholars Program40 hours of didactic, culturally appropriate and interprofessional education for college students already enrolled in a healthcare profession; in conjunction with 40 hours of clinical rotations in a rural or medically underserved setting and awarding them up to $1,600 for completion.
MHFA Training ProgramsNorth Central trains over 250+ individuals annually on how to recognize and react to a mental health crisis, we are destigmatizing mental health issues one student at a time.
Community Health Worker Training (CHW)Training is available through our center upon completion participants will receive the Texas State certification. Continuing Education Programs- Meeting the education and training needs of health providers in the allied health, dental health, medicine, mental health, nursing, pharmacy, and public health professions to ensure all our healthcare professionals are staying up to date with current licensure requirements and trends facing the industry today, for free or at an affordable cost.
